In 2021, our CEO and founder Garrett Blood noticed the same thing everywhere he went—highly skilled, talented people weren’t getting the opportunities they deserved. While living in Mexico and traveling across Asia, he met incredible individuals who were ready to contribute but were living in extreme poverty, with few paths to advance. Inspired by Clayton Christensen’s books How Will You Measure Your Life and The Prosperity Paradox, Garrett committed to creating meaningful opportunities for these talented individuals. That vision became Kajae: a way to connect overlooked talent with real opportunities, helping people and teams grow together.

The name Kajae started with something personal—the first letters of our founder’s children’s names. Later, we discovered it also means “gift from God” in Jamaican, a meaning that perfectly reflects the purpose behind how we build teams, partnerships, and careers.
